5^th Annual "Give Back” Campaign

Dear Parents and Fellow Alumni:

The Journeys Foundation was built in 1997 on the success of Inner City Players. Inner City Players was established in Portland, Oregon in 1997. The mission was simple, "Developing men of substance using sports as a motivational vehicle to prepare kids for the ultimate game of life".

Now entering the 15th year of programming, ICP Athletics holds a 98% high school completion rate. There have been over 250 participants in the Inner City Players Athletics Program, carrying a 98% high school completion rate. I am proud to announce that of these graduates, 90% have moved on to some form of higher learning by way of academic and/or athletic scholarship.

I am now asking for your continued monetary support because as a past parent or alumni you know firsthand the benefits of being an ICP participant. You also know that most of the boys and their families cannot truly afford all of the costs pertaining to club fees, traveling expenses and gym costs. We are asking a pledge of $20.00 per person. (Although feel free to donate more). You giving back will mean so much to these boys.
