2013 L.J. Westbrook 6-2 PG (Team Jones 17Us/ICP Elite) - Westbrook
was one of the best players in the event and was able to do whatever he
wanted. Get to the rim, he did it. Take a big jumper, he did it. Get a
steal and layup, he did it. The Oregon State commit was dominate in
every game he played.
It is still unclear if he projects as a point guard or shooting
guard at the next level but Westbrook has a shot to play either one.
2013 Jordan Bell 6-6 PF (ICP Elite) - Bell
was one of the more athletic players playing in the event this weekend
and he made it a point to show he was also one of the best players
there. Blocking shots is what Bell is known for and showed it this
weekend. In one game Bell had unofficially eight blocked shots. He also
was a vacuum on the boards collecting almost every nearly missed shot on
both the offensive and defensive end of the court.
His jumper needs work though and that is what is holding Bell
back from being an elite national recruit. If he can extend his jump
shot out to the free throw line he will see his offer list explode.
Bell has offers from Oregon, USC, Washington, San Francisco, and is hearing from the rest of the Pac-12.
2013 Roschon Prince 6-6 SF (ICP Elite) - Prince
is maybe the team's best player on ICP Elite and at 6-6 he has a
old-school style of basketball where he simply is a hard working player.
He played hard all the time and attacks the rim on the offensive side
of the court while showing he could guard either small or power forward
positions. He might be more of a tweener right now.
High major recruit who has most of the Pac-12 recruiting him right now.
2014 Kameron Chatman 6-5 SF (ICP Elite) - Chatman has
left Jefferson high school and will play his junior and senior seasons
at Long Beach Poly in California and the forward should be a big
addition for them. He is a guy that does a lot of things well but
nothing really great. A very long athlete who has guard like skills.
Chatman will be one of the better players next season on the AAU circuit
but he still has holes in his game.
Will need to improve his jump shot and ball strength while also making sure to stay home on defense and rebound.
Pac-12 colleges have all started recruiting Chatman already.
